I know that I'm not going to be able to transmit my level of excitement through this comment, so suffice it to say I'M PRETTY DARN EXCITED! I absolutely *adore* that print and it is going to be the crown jewel of the living room! Elizabeth is so adorable...and I definitely don't have an answer for that question (c: Maybe she should watch how to train your dragon where it turns out that all the dragons are nice? I've missed you this week girl! I hope you are feeling 100% soon, being sick sucks.

I hope you feel better, Tina. Elizabeth is so adorable. Kids always have some kind of fear. My son had a fear for monster. He hates large figurines and stuff. I have a 3-4 feet tall terracotta warrior figurine and whenever he sees it, he will yell, "Bye bye monster, see you later." Always crack me up!

Nice fabric selections. Looking forward to see the finished project!

aww too bad you are feeling ill! get better soon. i agree with aubrey above get that kiddy movie 'how to train a dragon' my kid loves it. but he thinks he is a dragon all the time. I love the fabric.....chairs would be spectacular.

Awesome choice! Can't wait to see that sofa upholstered in the velvet! Hope you're feeling better soon.

The dragon is awesome! A perfect compliment to the velvet. I hope Elizabeth doesn't mind too much (her "fired" comment is adorable), and I hope you feel better soon! You have a big week ahead of you, my friend!

Thanks for your comment on my guest post over at Aubrey's blog :-)

I think the blue velvet sofa is going to look stunning. And the dragon fabric is a bold and fun choice for the chairs. Have you thought about using it just on the backs of the back cushions of the chairs so that your kids can still sit on them? :-) Solid blue on the seats with silver nailhead trim would look amazing with the dragon fabric.

Do it! Such a fabulous fabric print!!
Love the sound of velvet on the sofa... lush, lux, durable (I've heard) and over time, it wears so wonderfully :-)
